Shizuku Asahi (朝日 雫アサヒ しずく , Asahi Shizuku) is a supporting character in the series. She is the president of the Mass Media Club.

Shizuku has short hair with bangs and she wear glasses.

Shizuku is noted to be a pushover by Karen Kino.

History

Shizuku was saved from drowning by Kaguya Shinomiya the year before the story began. This heroic act wasn't so pure as Kaguya wanted to be able to get favors out of her, like erasing photos of her or supporting Miyuki Shirogane's reelection.

Etymology

• The name Shizuku means "droplet" (雫).
• Shizuku's surname Asahi means "Morning" (朝) (asa) and "sun, day" (日) (hi).
  • Asahi also refers to The Asahi Shimbun, one of the five national newspapers in Japan.
