Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai? Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen was announced on October 19th via the Kaguya anime's official Twitter account. It was further confirmed by a PDF file from the kaguya.love website that the original voice actors would be reprising their roles, and A-1 Pictures would be returning to animate the series. The season premiered on April 11, 2020. Episode 1 was pre-screened at Anime Festival Sydney on Sunday, March 8, 2020.
