Origin
Nayotake's name comes from Nayotake no Kaguya-hime (名夜竹の輝夜姫), the full title of the princess from The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. It translates to "supple bamboo", a reference to how the literary Kaguya was found in a bamboo stalk.
Appearance
Nayotake looks similar to Kaguya Shinomiya including the long black hair.
Personality
Nothing much is known of Nayotake's personality.
History
Nayotake gave birth to one daughter before dying a few weeks later of heart problems. As a result, she was not present during Kaguya's childhood. In Chapter 242, it was later revealed that she worked in Gion's red light district as a prostitute. She died 30th of January, 29 days after giving birth to Kaguya.[1]
