Kazeno (風野かぜの, Kazeno) is a minor character in the Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai series. He is a graduate of Shuchi'in Academy and the former captain of the Red Cheer Club.

Appearance

He is a tall man with hair gelled back with a relatively muscular build due to bodybuilding. He is seen wearing a hoodie most of the time.

Personality

As a member of the Cheer Team, Kazeno is incredibly upbeat and kind to all those around him.

He is also rather intelligent as he was ranked fourth among the senior class in both the second and third-semester finals.

History

He's was third-year student who studies at Shuchi'in Academy and he is the team Captain of the Cheer club. He lived on the campus during his studies at Shuchi'in and started dating Kobachi Osaragi during the Devoted Heart festival.

After he and Kobachi broke up over winter break, he became obsessed with idols.

Kobachi Osaragi

Kobachi Osaragi is Kazeno's ex-girlfriend, whom he started dating in the lead up to the culture festival. The two of them broke up due to Kobachi being grossed out by his constant working out.

Tsubame Koyasu

Tsubame and Kazeno are close friends, having worked together in running the Cheer Club.

Yu Ishigami

Yu Ishigami and Kazeno are friends due to their time together on the Cheer Club.

Etymology

• The surname Kazeno means "wind" (風) (kaze) and "field, wilderness" (野) (no).

Trivia

• Kazeno is one of only two named characters who is known to live in the Shuchi'in Academy dorms rather than off-campus.
• Kazeno is speculated to be the same character as Pieyon from Oshi no Ko, another manga series which takes place in the same universe and written by Aka Akasaka.
  • While the theory remains unconfirmed, both characters share the same Japanese voice actor for the anime adaptation of both series.
