News regarding a live action movie of Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai Tachi no Ren'ai Zunousen emerged on Thursday, 21 February 2019 along with its website launch. Its release date was on September 6, 2019. The Blu-ray Disc of the Live action is released on 13 March 2020. The live action also has novel release. This live action is heavy on comedy.

Plot Summary

The story begins with its usual 'there is no middle ground in a relationship' stigma and 6 month timeskip. It continues with Kaguya and Miyuki battle over free movie tickets to watch together. Tsubasa asks Miyuki for love advice while Kaguya spies on them and right after that Kaguya laughs over dick jokes. As Miyuki misunderstood of the dick intent Kaguya gets sick and Miyuki visits her. They got into an argument that is quickly resolved. Summer break comes and they managed to meet each other for the fireworks festival.

After the break, Miyuki and Kaguya cannot face each other and the day for the student council to disband comes. Kaguya got heart problems and Miyuki is worried. Kaguya and Miyuki runs for the election for their own reasons. Kaguya found out Chika and Miyuki meet in secret and expecting the worst, uses it as a winning card during the election speech. Miyuki exposes he has been training with Chika to make Kaguya feel better and they expresses their love. They return back to the student council with their previous position and a surprise to end the movie.
