The Cubari Facaccimo is an object created by Kaguya.
Appearance
It is a purple stonelike object with a single eye and two legs. On top of it there are four flags with words written on them.
The eye also has the ability to change the direction it faces, suggesting that it might be alive in some capacity.
History
Kaguya initially created is as part of a plan to get Shirogane to confess to her on Valentines Day. Exactly what the plan was and what part in the plan it had is never made clear.
Kaguya had attempted to make handmade chocolate using a recipe from the Occult Research Club, but describes what followed as having "committed an unforgivable sin", bringing sentient food into the world.
As a result, she swore off making chocolate forever, and Hayasaka repressed the memory of the incident as a defense mechanism.
Trivia
- While there is no reference to the Cubari Facaccimo incident in Episode 15, it later appears in at the end of Episode 18 when Fujiwara is unpacking as the Student Council returns to the council room.
- It can be seen in Episode 37 during Miyuki's flash back when he is figuring out his plan for an ultra romantic confession.
